  • Payment & Billing Information: Payment method details are collected and processed by our trusted payment processors. We do not store full credit card numbers on our own servers.
  • Health / Injury Notes (Optional): Allergies, past injuries, or restrictions you choose to share so instructors can keep students safe.
  • Media Permissions: Consent forms for photography, video, and promotional use.
  • Waivers & Liability Forms: Digital signatures, timestamps, related consent records.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website or use our app, we (or service providers acting on our behalf) may automatically collect:

  • Device type, operating system, and browser type
  • IP address and approximate location (city/region level)
  • App usage logs (features accessed, time in app)

Event & Travel Partners – When you register for tournaments, camps, or travel events where we must provide participant rosters (we share only what is necessary).

We do limited promotional outreach. If you follow us on social platforms or interact with our content, the platform’s privacy policy applies. We may occasionally run ads or boosted posts; we do not provide student rosters to ad networks.

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Improve site performance & load times

7. Data Retention

  • Active students: While enrolled and for a reasonable period after (typically 3–7 years depending on record type and legal obligations).
  • Financial records: Retained per tax and accounting laws.
  • Media consent withdrawal: We will stop new use; previously published materials may remain in archived marketing unless removal is feasible.

You may request deletion (see Section 11), subject to lawful retention requirements.

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data, including:

Many of our users are minors. We collect personal information about children only with parent/guardian involvementas part of enrollment. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent (consistent with U.S. COPPA principles).

We love celebrating our students! We may take photos or video during classes, belt tests, tournaments, camps, or community events. Uses include social media, newsletters, website galleries, or promotional materials.

  • Media use is governed by the consent you give at registration.
  • You may opt out or withdraw consent at any time going forward.
  • Please notify instructors if your child should not be photographed.

12. Communications: Email, SMS, Push Notifications

We use your contact information to send:

  • Class updates, closures, and schedule changes
  • Billing and registration confirmations
  • Event and camp announcements
  • Marketing or fundraising communications (opt out anytime)

Push Notifications (App): You can manage notifications in your device settings.

SMS/Text: Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out (where available).

13. Payment Processing

We partner with secure third‑party payment processors. Those providers, not Kingi’s Kajukenbo, collect and store your full payment card details. We receive limited transaction info (e.g., amount, last 4 digits, status) to manage billing.

14. International Data Transfers

If you access our Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your home country. By using our Services, you consent to this transfer. When required, we rely on appropriate safeguards.
